BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Council Policy 7.2.19, Section 2.G.(V) ad-hoc advisory committees may be established as required to facilitate the study of Council-directed or staff-requested initiatives. These committees will be project-specific and will function only for the duration of the project.
These Ad-Hoc Committees created by the Chair do not require Committee action regarding the creation of the ad-hoc committee.

DISCUSSION
Chair Larsson announces that the following members will form ad-hoc advisory committees:

Martin Pyne
Committee No. 2
Galen Davis
Kathryn Filley
Timothy Oey
Committee No. 3
Gail Rubino
Gustav Larsson
Kristel Wickham
Topics will be assigned to Committees at a future Charter Review Committee meeting.
The ad-hoc committees will make recommendations to the full Charter Review Committee for consideration at noticed, open Charter Review Committee meetings. Upon presentation of the findings and recommendations to the full Charter Review Committee and action on the Committees’ recommendations, the term of the ad-hoc committees will expire.

Public contact was made by posting the Council meeting agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board at City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Public Library and in the Department of Public Safety Lobby. In addition, the agenda and this report are available at the NOVA Workforce Services reception desk located on the first floor of City Hall at 456 W. Olive Avenue (during normal business hours), and on the City's website.
