Report

REPORT IN BRIEF

Approval is requested to amend an existing 3-year Contract with AgreeYa Solutions, Inc., of Folsom, California to increase the contract amount by $15,000, for a new, not-to-exceed total of $485,000 for on-call temporary staffing for IT support.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION

In November 2020, the City issued a request for qualifications (RFQL) to solicit technology contracting services that could provide temporary staffing for professional and technical support services. This generated a short list of qualified vendors in multiple categories (RFQL F21-005). AgreeYa Solutions, Inc., is included in the list of qualified multi-award vendors.

The Information Technology Department sends each request to all qualified vendors with a detailed job description. In response, vendors submit qualified candidates. A selection committee reviews all submittals, conducts interviews, and selects the best qualified candidate.

The City entered into a contract with AgreeYa Solutions, Inc., on November 18, 2022. To date, four temporary employees have been selected for assignments from this vendor. This request adds funds to the existing agreement for completion of network installation for the Sunnyvale Community Center and fire stations.

FISCAL IMPACT

Budget is available in in Fund 7027 - Technology and Communication Services under Program 15200 - Information Technology Services and Support. Information technology services are funded through transfers from other funds in the form of internal service charges.
