BACKGROUND
The application deadline was April 25, 2024. The deadline serves as a cutoff point to allow time to verify voter registration and schedule interviews.

DISCUSSION
The City received 38 applications for current vacancies on Boards and Commissions. 35 applicants are scheduled to be interviewed on May 13 and May 14, 2024. The remaining applicants were interviewed within the last twelve months or are not available for an interview on May 13 or May 14.
Appointments to Boards and Commissions are scheduled for May 21, 2024.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Council meeting agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board at City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Public Library and in the Department of Public Safety Lobby. In addition, the agenda and this report are available at the NOVA Workforce Services reception desk located on the first floor of City Hall at 456 W. Olive Avenue (during normal business hours), and on the City's website.
