REPORT IN BRIEF
Approval is requested to amend an existing 3-year Contract with AgreeYa Solutions, Inc., of Folsom, California to increase the contract amount by $15,000, for a new, not-to-exceed total of $485,000 for on-call temporary staffing for IT support.
EXISTING POLICY
Pursuant to Section 2.08.040 of the Sunnyvale Municipal Code (SMC), City Council approval is required for contracts for the procurement of goods and services exceeding $250,000 in any one transaction.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The action being considered does not constitute a "project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5) in that it is a governmental organization or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect changes in the environment.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
In November 2020, the City issued a request for qualifications (RFQL) to solicit technology contracting services that could provide temporary staffing for professional and technical support services. This generated a short list of qualified vendors in multiple categories (RFQL F21-005). AgreeYa Solutions, Inc., is included in the list of qualified multi-award vendors.
The Information Technology Department sends each request to all qualified vendors with a detailed job description. In response, vendors submit qualified candidates. A selection committee reviews all submittals, conducts interviews, and selects the best qualified candidate.
The City entered into a contract with AgreeYa Solutions, Inc., on November 18, 2022. To date, four temporary employees have been selected for assignments from this vendor. This request adds funds to the existing agreement for completion of network installation for the Sunnyvale Community Ce...
