DISCUSSION

A Planning Commission Study Session was held on May 27, 2025, where staff introduced the project, and shared the analysis and findings of the project Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR).

The purpose of this public hearing is to receive comments on the adequacy of the project DEIR). The public comment period of the DEIR is from May 15, 2025, to June 30, 2025 (see Site and Architectural Plans of the project in Attachment 1 and Notice of Availability of the EIR in Attachment 2).

After the public comment period is over, a Final EIR (FEIR) will be prepared addressing comments and answering questions received. The FEIR will be circulated for public review before it is considered in future hearings.

Planning Commission and City Council hearings will be conducted to make a decision on the proposed project and certify the FEIR. These hearings will likely be scheduled in late summer or early fall 2025 and will be subject to required public notification.
