BACKGROUND
The application deadline was April 16, 2026. The deadline serves as a cutoff point to allow time to verify voter registration and schedule interviews. Applications received after the deadline are marked as “late” on the first page of the application.

DISCUSSION
The City received 42 applications for current vacancies on Boards and Commissions. 41 applicants are scheduled to be interviewed on April 27 and April 28, 2025. The remaining applicant is not available for an interview on April 27 or April 28.
Appointments to Boards and Commissions are scheduled for May 19, 2026.
Councilmembers are provided a set of non-redacted applications.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Council meeting agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board at City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Public Library and in the Department of Public Safety Lobby. In addition, the agenda and this report are available at the City Hall reception desk located on the first floor of City Hall at 456 W. Olive Avenue (during normal business hours), and on the City's website.
