BACKGROUND
The application deadline was January 23, 2025. The deadline serves as a cutoff point to allow time to verify voter registration and schedule interviews.

DISCUSSION
The City received eight applications for current vacancies on Boards and Commissions. Five applicants are scheduled to be interviewed on February 3, 2025. The remaining applicants interviewed with the City Council within the last 12 months or are not available to interview on February 3.
Appointments to Boards and Commissions are scheduled for February 25, 2025.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Council meeting agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board at City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Public Library and in the Department of Public Safety Lobby. In addition, the agenda and this report are available at the NOVA Workforce Services reception desk located on the first floor of City Hall at 456 W. Olive Avenue (during normal business hours), and on the City's website.
