BACKGROUND
The attached Colleagues Memorandum regarding prohibiting the use of City properties for civil immigration enforcement purposes and related policies to provide resources for city property owners, businesses and residents (Attachment 1) was submitted by Vice Mayor Mehlinger along with Councilmembers Sell and Le. The Colleagues Memorandum references City of Santa Clara Resolution No. 26-9533 (Attachment 2). The Colleagues Memorandum is included for Council’s consideration pursuant to Council Policy 7.3.19 (Council Meetings) (See Attachment 3).
