BACKGROUND
This item was originally scheduled for the City Council hearing on August 12, 2014. In order to balance the Council agenda of August 12, staff requests continuance of this item to August 26, 2014.  
 
PUBLIC CONTACT
This action of continuance to a date certain serves as required legal notice. Staff has notified the applicants of the revised hearing date. A revised notice was published in the Sunnyvale SUN newspaper. The project sites were posted with the revised notice. Members of the public who spoke at the Planning Commission hearing were provided notice if contact information was available.
 
Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Senior Center, Community Center and Department of Public Safety; and by making the agenda and report available at the Sunnyvale Public Library, the Office of the City Clerk and on the City's website.

Recommendation
In order to balance the Council agenda of August 12, 2014 staff requests continuance of this item to August 26, 2014.
