BACKGROUND
This item was scheduled and advertised for the City Council hearing on July 12, 2016. Staff requires additional time to complete the study and the report to the Planning Commission.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Senior Center, Community Center and Department of Public Safety; and by making the agenda and report available at the Sunnyvale Public Library, the Office of the City Clerk and on the City's website.
A notice for this item was also published in the Sunnyvale Sun on June 3, 2016 for the City Council hearing of July 12, 2016. If the City Council continues this item to August 9, 2016 or another date certain, then it will not be necessary to re-advertise this item for August 9, 2016 or another date certain as the City Council’s action will serve as legal notification of the continuance of this item.

Continue this item to the City Council hearing of August 9, 2016 to allow sufficient time to complete the study.
