BACKGROUND
This item was scheduled and advertised for the Zoning Administrator public hearing of May 15, 2019. A second outreach meeting was held on April 25, 2019, which was attended by several neighbors who expressed operational concerns with the parking lot and alleyway. Staff is requesting a continuance to the May 29, 2019 Zoning Administrator meeting to allow additional time to work with the applicant to address neighborhood concerns.

Public contact regarding this item was made through the following ways:
1. Posting the Agenda for Zoning Administrator on the City's official notice bulletin board outside City Hall and by making the agenda and report available at the Sunnyvale Public Library and on the City's website;
2. Publication in the Sun newspaper, at least 10 days prior to the hearing;
3. E-mail notification of the hearing dates sent to all interested parties and neighborhood associations; and
4. Two neighborhood outreach meetings were held on March 3, 2019 and April 25, 2019 to discuss the project.

Public Contact: Staff has not received any comments from the public, beyond those received at the outreach meeting, at the time of publication.
