BACKGROUND
Government Code Sections 54970 through 54974, the Maddy Act, requires that on or before December 31 of each year the City shall prepare a list of all Board and Commission appointments that will expire in the upcoming year. The list will be posted on or before December 31, 2019 at Sunnyvale City Hall, 456 West Olive Avenue; the Sunnyvale Public Library, 665 West Olive Avenue; the Office of the City Clerk, 603 All America Way and on Sunnyvale.ca.gov/government/boards.htm.
DISCUSSION
At its December 10, 2019 meeting, the City Council is considering appointments to vacancies on various Boards and Commissions, including a vacant term on the Heritage Preservation Commission ending June 30, 2020. The attached list will be updated and re-posted if an appointment is made to fill this vacancy.

Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Senior Center, Community Center and Department of Public Safety; and by making the agenda and report available at the Sunnyvale Public Library, the Office of the City Clerk and on the City's website.
