SUMMARY OF COMMISSION AND SCHOOL BOARD ACTION
The Fremont Union High School District Board of Education voted to approve the Agreement on December 3, 2019.
The Parks and Recreation Commission considered this item on December 11, 2019. The Parks and Recreation Commission voted to approve Alternative 1: Recommend that City Council approve an Agreement with the Sunnyvale School District and Fremont Union High School District for a Joint Use Lakewood Branch Library and Learning Center at Lakewood Elementary School. The vote was 4-0 with Commissioner Henry Alexander III absent.
The Sunnyvale School District Board of Education voted to approve the Agreement on December 12, 2019 with a condition that Exhibit F be updated to match Section 7 of the draft agreement.
The Board of Library Trustees considered this item on January 6, 2020. The Board of Library Trustees voted to approve Alternative 1: Recommend that City Council approve an Agreement with the Sunnyvale School District and Fremont Union High School District for a Joint Use Lakewood Branch Library and Learning Center at Lakewood Elementary School. The vote was 5-0.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Senior Center, Community Center and Department of Public Safety; and by making the agenda and report available at the Sunnyvale Public Library, the Office of the City Clerk and on the City's website.
