SUMMARY OF SUBCOMMITTEE ACTION

The Community Event and Neighborhood Grant Distribution Subcommittee considered this item on July 15, 2020.

 

The Community Event and Neighborhood Grant Distribution Subcommittee voted to approve Alternative 1:  Review the FY 2020/21 grant applications for the Community Event and Neighborhood Grant Program and approve funding levels to be submitted to City Council for final action; and approve program process changes, including changing the timeline from a fiscal to calendar year and increasing the funding cap for Neighborhood Grants to $1500. The vote was 3-0.

 

PUBLIC CONTACT

Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall, Sunnyvale Public Library and Department of Public Safety; and by making the agenda and report available at the Office of the City Clerk and on the City's website.

 

ALTERNATIVES

1.                     Approve funding levels for grant applications for Fiscal Year 2020/21 for the Community Event and Neighborhood Grant Program; and approve program changes including changing the timeline from a fiscal to calendar year and increasing the funding cap for Neighborhood Grants to $1,500.

2.                     Take other action as determined by the Council.
