BACKGROUND
The application deadline was April 27, 2023. The deadline serves as a cutoff point to allow time to verify voter registration and schedule interviews.

DISCUSSION
The City received 6 applications for current vacancies on Boards and Commissions. Thirty-four applicants are scheduled to be interviewed on May 8 and May 9, 2023. The remaining applicants were interviewed within the last twelve months or are not available for an interview on May 8 or May 9.
Appointments to Boards and Commissions are scheduled for May 16, 2023.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Council meeting agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board at City Hall, at the Sunnyvale Public Library and in the Department of Public Safety Lobby. In addition, the agenda and this report are available at the NOVA Workforce Services reception desk located on the first floor of City Hall at 456 W. Olive Avenue (during normal business hours), and on the City's website.
