DISCUSSION
The City of Sunnyvale will hold a general municipal election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the purpose of filling elective offices for City Councilmember Districts 2, 4 and 6 and the Office of the Mayor. Pursuant to the State Elections Code, the Council must adopt a resolution calling the election and requesting consolidation with the Statewide General Election and requesting the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters to provide election services.

The nomination period for the November 5, 2024 election opens Monday, July 15, 2024 and closes at 5 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2024.
