NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT AND CONTINUATION  
The March 27, 2023 Personnel Board special meeting was adjourned and  
continued to March 28, 2023.  
CALL TO ORDER  
Chair Selen called the meeting to order at 5:06 p.m.  
Present: 4 - Chair Patti Selan

Board Member Richard Lesher  
Board Member Deepali Lugani  
PUBLIC HEARING/GENERAL BUSINESS  
Continuation of Agenda Item 23-0467 Appeal of Disciplinary Action by City of  
Sunnyvale Employee continued from March 27, 2023.  
The appeal hearing was continued before the Personnel Board.  
The City of Sunnyvale presented their case through three additional witnesses.  
The Personnel Board took a recess at 6:13 p.m. and reconvened at 6:25 p.m. with  
all board members present.  
The Personnel Board took a recess at 7:06 p.m. and reconvened at 7:12 p.m. with  
all board members present.  
The Personnel Board took a recess at 8:40 p.m. and reconvened at 8:55 p.m. with  
all board members present.  
Appellant's (employee's) attorney presented exhibits and four witnesses.  
Witness testimony continued until Chair Selan announced the meeting would  
continue to April 18, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. with location forthcoming.  
ADJOURNMENT  
Chair Selan adjourned the meeting at 9:54 p.m.
