Vice Chair Juttukonda called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

Vice Chair Juttukonda announced that the Human Relations Commission is hosting  
a free Allyship Community Event, Allies in Training: Building a Better Community.  
The training is taking place on Friday, June 13th , from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in a hybrid  
format, both in-person at City Hall and virtually via Zoom.

approve the Consent Calendar.

Review and Recommend Council Approve Recommended  
Budget  
Director of Finance, Matt Paulin, and Assistant Director of Finance, Dennis Jaw,  
provided a presentation on the recommended budget. Highlights included: legal  
framework, community values, budget principles, budget workshop, budget  
summaries, city-wide revenues, reserve balances, and the recommended budget.  
Vice Chair Juttukonda opened public comment, and there being no speakers,  
closed public comment.  
Board Member Hu moved and Board Member Hod seconded the motion to  
Recommend Council Approve the Recommended Budget. The motion carried by the  
following vote:

Summer Reading Program, Level Up At Your Library, begins June 1 with fun kid,  
teen, and adult programs. Prize books are different this year, with the goal of putting  
books in kids hands, kids will get a book at sign-up instead of at the end of the  
event.
