CALL TO ORDER  
Personnel Board Chair Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.in the  
Redwood Conference Room at Sunnyvale City Hall.

Chair Johnson led the salute to the flag.

Approve the Personnel Board Meeting Minutes of October 21, 2024

Board Member Ketzel moved and Vice Chair Lesher seconded the motion to  
approve the Personnel Board Meeting Minutes of October 21, 2024 as presented.  
The motion carried with the following vote:

NON-AGENDA ITEMS & COMMENTS  
-Board Member Comments  
Board Member Vickrey announced he is a member of the City's Charter Review  
Committee. The Charter Review Committee has held two meetings to identify  
amendments to the Charter. The committee is reviewing staff and Council  
suggestions. Board Member Vickrey announced the next meeting will be held on  
April 3, 2025 at 5 p.m.at open to the general public.  
-Staff Comments  
Board Secretary Murphy mentioned revisions to the City's Charter that are related to  
Human Resources and the language for Unskilled Laborer and Classified Service.  
Board Secretary Murphy shared the City Clerk's communication on this year's  
Sunnyvale Community Awards and the invitation to board and commission members  
to become part of the selection committee. Deadline to respond is March 31, 2025.  
Board Secretary Murphy prepared revisions to the City of Sunnyvale Civil Service  
Rules and Regulations (CSRR). The draft CSRR with revisions has been shared  
with all bargaining units for their review and feedback. Board Secretary Murphy will  
send the draft CSRR with revisions to the Personnel Board for review and  
discussion at the next Personnel Board meeting on May 19, 2025.
