Because of the COVID-19 emergency and the health orders issued by Santa Clara  
County and the State of California, this meeting of the Sunnyvale Housing and  
Human Services Commission will take place by teleconference, as allowed by  
Government Code Subdivision 54953(e) and Resolution No. 1089-21 (reaffirmed  
November 1, 2022).

Review Two Draft Requests for Proposals for FY 2023/24 and  
FY 2024/25 CDBG Human Services Grants and FY 2023/24  
CDBG/HOME Housing and Capital Projects.  
Recommendation:  
Review the two draft RFPs and provide any  
comments/suggestions for any changes to the final RFPs.

Consider Request from Second Harvest of Silicon Valley for  
Forgiveness of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)  
Loan.  
Recommendation:  
Alternative 2: Do not approve the CDBG Loan Forgiveness  
request from Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and require the  
loan of $47,569.86 to be immediately due and payable, and  
authorize staff to develop a payment plan.

Forward Recommendation to City Council to Adopt a  
Resolution Authorizing the City to Apply to and Participate in  
the State of California’s Prohousing Designation Program  
Recommendation:
